February 8, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan produced 8.685 bn cigarettes in 2020 (8.9% less versus 2019), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.
The manufacture of domestic cigarettes slowed down against the background of 3-fold import decline.
For the first 11 months of 2020 Azerbaijan imported 1.85 bn pieces of cigarettes.
