September 24, Fineko/abc.az. 259 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in Georgia over the past day.

The Georgian Ministry of Health reports that the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection in the country has reached 4,399.

The daily increase was 6.26%, 0.36 percentage points more than last Wednesday's data. Over the past 14 days the number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Georgia has increased by 148.11%.

According to the Ministry, the number of victims of coronavirus infection in the country has reached 25 people (+1 per day).

5,390 people are in quarantine regime, 836 people remain under the supervision of doctors in hospitals, 640 people are treated in specialized hotels, while 1,705 people recovered.
