July 1, Fineko/abc.az. The news that Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air is going to abandon the Georgian market has been spread.

ABC.AZ reports that Minister of Economy & Sustainable Development of Georgia Natia Turnava stated that this information was false.

She noted that the airline is not leaving the country's market and is preparing to resume flights: “The company continues cooperating with the government of Georgia and remains loyal to its customers. Wizz Air feels very comfortable in Georgia.”

Wizz Air has been operating flights to Kutaisi since 2012. The company's base has been operating in this city since 2016.
