October 19, Fineko/abc.az. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has announced that the company’s artificial intelligence division, SpaceXAI, will be rebranded as SpaceXSI, according to Reuters, citing his response to a user on X. The new name replaces "artificial intelligence" (AI) with "super intelligence" (SI).

The decision follows US President Donald Trump’s recent proposal calling for a shift away from the term "artificial intelligence" in favor of "superintelligence". While Musk confirmed the name change, he did not specify a exact timeline for the transition. Currently, the company’s official website and X account continue to operate under the SpaceXAI name.
