October 15, Fineko/abc.az. According to Airbus's latest Global Market Forecast (GMF), air traffic across Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) is expected to nearly double by 2045.

To meet this demand, the region will require 8,190 new passenger aircraft (6,690 single-aisle and 1,500 widebody).

Furthermore, Airbus expects the share of new-generation aircraft in the Europe and CIS fleet to reach 82% by 2035, driving significantly higher fuel efficiency and lower emissions.
