October 19, Fineko/abc.az. US tech giant Apple is preparing to roll out its Apple Intelligence features in China following regulatory delays, partnering with local tech giant Alibaba.

According to Bloomberg, Apple will power AI capabilities on its first foldable smartphone launching in China next week using Alibaba's AI technology. Apple views advanced AI functionality as crucial to competing against Huawei in the world’s largest smartphone market. Meanwhile, market competition continues to intensify with new entrants, such as Chinese AI firm StepFun, which unveiled a $600 smartphone equipped with a built-in AI agent.
