January 9, Fineko/abc.az. Today, the manat and the US dollar retained their positions at the currency market.

"The Central Bank of Azerbaijan held a currency auction with participation of the State Oil Fund. The weighted average rate of the manat remained at the level of AZN/USD 1.7001," the CBA said.

At the previous currency auction on 4 January the weighted average rate was also AZN/USD 1.7001.
