Mikayil Jabbarov: Economic growth rate grew by 2.2% for past year

February 12, Fineko/abc.az. The growth rate in the non-oil sector accelerated almost two-fold.

According to ABC.AZ information, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov made such a statement at a conference in Baku on 11 February.

The minister stressed that the economic growth rate in Azerbaijan increased by 2.2% last year. In the non-oil sector the growth rate doubled up to 3.5%. The country's strategic foreign exchange reserves reached $52 bn and exceeded 90% of GDP. The non-oil export increased by 14% up to $2 bn.
