January 29, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan-based Azertexnolayn LLC plans to build a plant for the production of polyethylene pipes in Uzbekistan.
A relevant agreement was reached between Azertexnolayn’s director Mammadjafar Mammadov and Behzod Bahodirov, the department head of the Investment Promotion Agency of Uzbekistan.
The Uzbek side proposed to construct a plant in Bukhara, Samarkand or Tashkent region.
A range of technical issues were covered during the meeting, as well as further strengthening of relationships in the future.
Mammadov noted that Azertexnolayn LLC already has a sales office in Uzbekistan. The company intends to allocate $300,000-400,000 as part of the project for the production of polyethylene pipes. About 40 jobs will be opened after the plant is ready.
