January 24, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is conducting broad economic reforms for achievement of inclusive and sustainable economic development.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made by Vusal Gasimli, the executive director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications, at a business meeting organized by the Azerbaijani-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

He noted that the public and private sectors should take a joint initiative to increase private investments and improve the efficiency of tax and legal management. Gasimli also raised the matter of economic reforms covered in presentation "Creating opportunities for inclusive & sustainable economic growth in Azerbaijan":

"While the pace of economic growth in the world has slowed, the pace of economic growth in Azerbaijan has accelerated over the past 5 years. Economic, social, managerial and HR reforms are a crucial factor in accelerating growth. Now the main task is to achieve higher growth rates and sustainability to growth."
