September 17, Fineko/abc.az. It is needed to create a mechanism, allowing to make more flexible decisions during purchases within a certain amount by legal entities under public law.

This proposal was made by MP Alibala Maharramzade at a meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship.

He added that although the funds received by legal entities under public law are considered state-owned, with expenditures of up to 20,000 manats, these organizations should be able to make decisions independently.

He noted that only expenses exceeding this amount should be discussed in the framework of official procurement procedures.

The MP stressed that to ensure efficiency, it is necessary to find a "golden mean", and this regulation should be formed on the basis of serious analytical research and international practice (benchmarks).
