September 10, Fineko/abc.az. According to the latest decree signed by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the Ministry of Finance has been tasked to prepare and submit proposals to the head of the country within one month on the liquidation of target budget funds created as part of the State Budget and the use of sources of income from these funds.

According to the document, all amounts remaining from the part of extra-budgetary funds of organizations financed from the State Budget (with the exception of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Customs Committee and the State Tax Service) allocated for social protection will be transferred directly to the State Budget.

This requirement will come into force on January 1, 2027. The Ministry of Finance will also prepare new proposals for the formation of funds received from the paid services of the Presidential Administration and specialized medical services.
