09:37 - 10.09.2026

September 10, Fineko/abc.az. Spot gold prices edged up 0.3% to $4,412.84 per ounce on Thursday, buoyed by a weaker US dollar as investors await key US inflation data that could guide the Federal Reserve's monetary policy. US gold futures for December delivery slipped 0.1% to $4,457.10.

Analysts attribute gold's resilience to the weakening greenback and ongoing fiscal concerns, following US national debt surpassing the $40 trillion threshold. Ahead of the Fed's September 15–16 meeting, markets are pricing in a 60% probability of an interest rate hike.

Among other precious metals, spot silver rose to $67.42 and palladium edged up to $1,355.50, while platinum eased to $1,885.02.
