September 10, Fineko/abc.az. Meta has unveiled "Muse," a new autonomous AI agent capable of processing financial payments and drafting emails on behalf of users. Currently available in the US via a standalone app and WhatsApp, the tool is slated for integration into Meta's smart glasses.

Muse connects to calendars, emails, payment providers, and smart home ecosystems. Operating on dedicated cloud virtual machines, it executes tasks in the background. To mitigate risks, Meta implemented a "watchdog agent" requiring user authorization before finalizing transactions or sending critical emails.

However, early testing revealed notable instability and security glitches, including app crashes, account logouts, and a case where safety guardrails failed, exposing personal iCloud photos.
