August 12, Fineko/abc.az. According to informed sources, daily crude oil exports via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline averaged 547,000 barrels in June of this year.

Compared to May, oil transportation through the BTC pipeline increased by 10%, or 48,000 barrels per day (bpd). However, on a year-on-year basis, June exports declined by 5%, or 31,000 bpd, compared to June of last year.

• Commissioning Date: The pipeline was officially inaugurated on July 13, 2006.

• Total Length: The pipeline extends over 1,768 kilometers.

• Route Breakdown: 443 km lies in Azerbaijan, 249 km in Georgia, and 1,076 km in Türkiye.
