August 13, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, and Bulgaria are negotiating the creation of a land corridor to facilitate the transit of electricity to Europe.

According to Inga Pkhaladze, Georgia’s Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, the project will enable the supply of electricity from interested nations—primarily neighboring countries—to the European market via Georgia.

The initiative offers significant economic benefits to Georgia, allowing the country to act not only as a transit hub but also as an exporter of its own electricity, thereby fostering the development of local business and the national energy sector.
