August 12, Fineko/abc.az. The $2.3 trillion Norwegian sovereign wealth fund, managed by Norges Bank Investment Management, returned 11.5% in the second quarter, marking its best quarterly performance since Q2 2020.
Equity investments were the primary driver with a 16% return, while fixed-income securities contributed 1.1%. Unlisted real estate and infrastructure investments returned 1.8%.
CEO Nicolai Tangen stated: "The result is driven by strong returns in the stock market, particularly from Asian technology equities."
