Koç Holding Beats Q2 Earnings Estimates with $485 Million Net Profit

August 6, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish conglomerate Koç Holding reported its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, posting a parent company net profit of 19.7 billion Turkish Lira (approx. $485 million USD), easily beating market consensus estimates of 13.6 billion TL. Consolidated revenue for the quarter expanded 13% year-on-year to 904.2 billion TL (approx. $22.2 billion USD).

The energy segment delivered the largest contribution to combined top-line growth, driven by Tüpraş's strong balance sheet to reach 1 trillion TL (approx. $24.6 billion USD) (+31% YoY). Revenue in the automotive sector stood at 769.8 billion TL (~$18.9 billion USD), while the financial and consumer durables (Arçelik) divisions contributed 517.8 billion TL (~$12.7 billion USD) and 309.7 billion TL (~$7.6 billion USD), respectively. Total combined revenue for the first half of the year grew 7% to 2.7 trillion TL (approx. $66.3 billion USD).

Accounting for 8% of Turkey’s total exports, Koç Holding generated roughly 50% of its revenues in foreign currency. As of the end of the first half of the year, the holding maintained a solo net cash position of $989 million USD.
