August 5, Fineko/abc.az. By the decision of the Management Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBAR) dated August 4, 2026, the payment organization license of Modenis LLC was revoked in accordance with the Law "On Payment Services and Payment Systems".

According to the Central Bank, the decision follows a corporate restructuring. Mpay LLC has been reorganized by absorbing Modenis LLC and currently acts as its legal successor.
