July 29, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2026, Azerbaijan exported 12,296.31 tons of cotton yarn for $27,574,980, according to the July issue of the Export Review, published by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications.

Compared with Jan-Jun 2025, exports grew by $14.9 million (2.1-fold) in value terms and by 6,878.21 tons (2.2-fold) in physical terms.

The share of cotton yarn in non-oil exports was 0.5%, and in overall exports of the country - 0.1%.

According to the State Customs Committee, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover amounted to $24.661 million in the first six months of the year (a rise of 1.1% againsyt Jan-Jun 2025), including exports for $16.32 million (a rise by 26.7%) and imports for $8.341 million (a drop by 27.6%).
