July 28, Fineko/abc.az. Saudi Aramco has suspended operations at its 400,000-b/d refinery in Jazan after a Yemeni Houthi attack that damaged key facilities. Repairs and resumption of operations are expected by August 15.

The Houthis announced missile and drone strikes on the company's facilities in Jazan and Yanbu in response to Saudi Arabia's actions, and warned of risks to shipping and oil infrastructure in the Red Sea.

The escalation heightened concerns about energy supply disruptions, including on routes bypassing the Strait of Hormuz.
