July 14, Fineko/abc.az. Artificial intelligence has turned from a technology at the initial stage of development into an integral part of our reality in just two years.

Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, made this statement, when delivering speech at the IV Shusha Global Media Forum.

He emphasized that the Shusha Forum is one of the leading regional platforms today.

"At the Shusha Global Media Forum, we discussed AI, which was in its early stages at the time, but has since become a part of our reality," Hajiyev said.

He noted that while social media has expanded opportunities for communication, it has also accelerated the spread of misinformation and manipulation in society.

"Digital platforms have given a voice to billions of people, but it can be challenging to distinguish between truth and lies," Hajiyev emphasized.
