April 24, Fineko/abc.az. The strategic goals of the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan (ABA) for 2026-2030 have been approved. Within their framework, special attention will be paid to the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the post-oil period, as well as strengthening support for financing the economy in accordance with the new economic policy.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting ABA president Zakir Nuriyev, that expansion of the Azerbaijani Banking & Financial Training Center is to support these processes. According to Nuriyev, the center will expand its activities with the participation of financial sector associations, and attention to personnel training will be strengthened.

In general, more than 30,000 employees are working in the financial sector of the country, and the necessary support measures will be taken for their certification.
