September 11, Fineko/abc.az. According to the "Global Hydrogen Compass 2026" report by the Hydrogen Council, committed global investments in clean hydrogen have reached $130 billion. Total committed production capacity has climbed to 6.9 million tonnes per year, driven by more than 570 targeted projects worldwide.

Nearly 90% of these projects are currently under construction or fully operational. Over 60% of committed capital targets energy security, decarbonization, and industrial growth. Localized clean hydrogen production is increasingly viewed as a strategic asset to reduce supply chain dependencies, mitigate critical mineral risks, and enhance the integration of renewable energy into power grids.
