April 17, Fineko/abc.az. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk has called on Russian businesses to take advantage of the opportunities created by the Azerbaijani government.

ABC.AZ reports that he made this statement at a meeting of the Azerbaijani-Russian Business Council in Baku.

"I urge Russian business to pay attention to the initiatives and opportunities offered by the government of Azerbaijan," Overchuk emphasized.

He added that similar potential exists in Russia, including within the special economic zones.

"I cannot but urge Azerbaijani business to look at opportunities in Russia, also within our special economic zones - this can contribute to the formation of effective cooperative ties," Overchuk noted.
