April 15, Fineko/abc.az. According to the Central Bank, the amount of individuals’ deposits in banks increased by 16% against Jan-Mar 2025 up to 17.209 billion manats in national currency equivalent as of March 1, 2026, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Statistics Committee.

It is noted that 69.4% of deposits were made in national currency and 30.6% in foreign currency. The amount of deposits in national currency grew by 20.2% against Jan-Mar 2025 and in foreign currency by 7.4%.
