April 14, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2026, 36,470 tourists from the Middle East visited Azerbaijan (3.9% less versus Jan-Feb 2025).

ABC.AZ informs that the largest number of tourists among the countries of the region came from Saudi Arabia - 10,959 people (+13.3% in annual terms).

In addition, the number of tourists was: from Israel - 8,683 (a rise of 2.1-fold), Kuwait - 4,732 (-20.3%), the UAE - 4,705 (-51.7%), Oman - 2,409 (-34.8%), Egypt - 1,399 (+6.4%), Jordan - 819 (-0.6%), Bahrain - 806 (+4.1%), Iraq - 779 (+86.4%), Yemen - 421 (-22.5%), Qatar - 400 (-6.5%), Lebanon - 144 (-33.6%), Palestine - 131 (-13.8%) and Syria - 83 (-5.7%).

In total, 337,300 foreign citizens from 163 countries visited Azerbaijan (0.4% less against Jan-Feb 2025).
