September 1, Fineko/abc.az. According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), transactions processed through the Low-Value Payment Clearing and Settlement System (XÖHKS) totaled 5.188 billion AZN across 8.177 million transactions in July.

Compared to the same period last year, transaction volume increased by 52 million AZN (11.1%), while the total number of transactions declined by 2.214 million units (21.3%).

Additionally, the total number of active payment cards issued by commercial banks and Azerpost LLC expanded by 8.9% year-on-year, reaching 22.785 million units by the end of July.
