April 3, Fineko/abc.az. This February, the number of unique term deposit depositors in the banking sector of Azerbaijan increased by 2.5% or 5,009 people.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, that the indicator has grown by 4.1% (by 7,948 depositors) since the beginning of the year, up to 202,100 people.

It is noted that in February, term deposits of individuals grew by 2% (by 210.3 million manats) and demand deposits by 6% (by 349.5 million manats).

68.9% of individuals' deposits (11.626 billion manats) are placed in national currency and 31.1% (5.239 billion manats) in foreign currency.

63.4% of individuals' deposit portfolio (10.686 billion manats) are term deposits.
