Cost of production of building materials in Azerbaijan grew by 39.3%

February 23, Fineko/abc.az. In January 2026, the total cost of building materials production reached 117.8 million manats (39.3% more versus in January 2025).

ABC.AZ reports, with reference to the State Statistics Committee, that production of asphalt grew 2.1-fold for January, lime by 40%, precast concrete structures by 28.9%, and cement clinker by 13.7%.

In metallurgy, in January 2026, the manufacture of rebar increased by 14.9% and steel castings by 34%, while the production of other metal products decreased by 60.6%.
