December 8, Fineko/abc.az. Tatarstan has developed a new financial product, debit cards Halal Card with halal cashback, approved by Sharia auditors. The difference from regular cashback is that the refund is made through affiliate programs, not from bank's income, and is considered a discount according to Sharia law.

ABC.AZ infoms that the card is available in virtual and plastic versions, and with the help of the application, users will be able to receive cashback for "halal" purchases. In the future, the developers plan to expand the product line: consumer lending based on the Murabaha principle, Islamic credit cards, financing of goods and cars, pension funds and investments.

The project supports digital technologies and artificial intelligence (polyglot Madiina), and the Halal Card payment system is integrated with Ak Bars Bank's OpenAPI and the MIR national payment system. The card is not intended to pay for goods and services prohibited by Islam.
