Apple occupies 25% of China’s smartphone market, a record in 3 years

November 18, Fineko/abc.az. Apple's iPhone 17 series has ensured a rise of 37% in monthly smartphone sales in China, reflecting strong momentum in the key market.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to Bloomberg, that according to Counterpoint Research, in October, the iPhone made up 25% of new smartphones sold in the country. This has not been observed since 2022. This data shows that Apple's annual updates are resonating with consumers and confirm CEO Tim Cook's forecast for company's renewed growth in China this quarter.

According to Counterpoint, all iPhone 17 series models surpassed the sales of their predecessors from the iPhone 16 line by double-digit percentage. As a result, thanks to Apple, the smartphone market in China grew by 8%.
