June 6, Fineko/abc.az. Hazelnut exports, a major component of Azerbaijan's agricultural trade, recorded an impressive growth momentum in early 2026. During the January–April period, the country exported hazelnuts worth USD 79.3 million to global markets.

ABC.AZ reports, citing the official bulletin of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, that the value of hazelnut exports during these four months surged by 48.5% year-on-year. In April alone, revenues generated from hazelnut shipments stood at USD 10.9 million.
