Azerbaijan-U.S. trade operations published

June 8, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of trade transactions between Azerbaijan and the United States for Jan-Apr 2026 totaled $338.609 million.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Customs Committee, the indicator is $122.4 million, or 26.5% less against Jan-Apr 2025.

The trade turnover with the U.S. made up 1.95% of Azerbaijan's overall trade turnover.

Over Jan-Apr 2026, Azerbaijan’s exports to the U.S. in the amount of $27.7 million were recorded ($3.7 million, or nearly 15.3% more versus Jan-Apr 2025).

Azerbaijan carried out import operations from the U.S. for $310.9 million ($126.1 million or 28.8% less against Jan-Apr 2025).

Over Jan-Apr 2026, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for $17.403 billion ($485 million, or 2.9% more against Jan-Apr 2025), including exports for $11.9 billion (a rise of $3.1 billion or 35.2%) and imports for $5.5 billion (a drop by $2.6 billion or 32.1%).

As a result, there was positive balance in foreign trade of $6.354 billion ($5.7 billion, or 9.7-fold more versus Jan-Apr 2025).
