June 11, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-May 2026, the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic conducted trade operations with foreign countries in the amount of $58.8 million.

ABC.AZ was inforemd at the Nakhchivan State Statistics Committee that the figure is 20.3% more against Jan-May 2025, including exports for $5.9 million ( a rise of 23.3%) and imports for $52.9 million (a rise of 20%).

As a result, negative balance of $47 million was formed in foreign trade (19.6% more than a year ago).

In addition, for the past 5 months, the retail trade turnover in the NAR totaled 616.3 million manats (0.5% more than a year ago). The retail chain sold food, beverages and tobacco products for 318 million manats and non-food products for 298.3 million manats.
