September 11, Fineko/abc.az. Following the recent teacher certification process, 7,318 educators were dismissed,  Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Science and Education, said during a press briefing on the new academic year.

According to ABC.AZ, the report indicated that 7,318 candidates failed the certification, while 7,900 were excluded due to reaching the age of 60. Among participants, 39,200 achieved satisfactory results (30–50 points), and 17,400 achieved high results (51 points and above).

The minister also noted that, following the completion of the interview stage of this year’s certification, salary increases will be granted to more than 72,000 teachers.
