Azerbaijan invests $48.5 million in Georgia in first half of 2025

September 8, Fineko/abc.az. From January to June 2025, Azerbaijan invested $48.5 million in Georgia.

ABC.AZ reports, citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia and Report, that this represents a 1% increase compared to the same period last year.

Azerbaijan’s investments totaled $24.9 million in the first quarter, up 29.7% year-on-year, and $23.6 million in the second quarter, down 18.1%.

The countries with the largest investments in Georgia during the reporting period were the United Kingdom ($188.8 million, +3.9%), Turkey ($81.5 million, +3.2%), and the Czech Republic ($81.3 million, +63.9%).
