August 14, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jul 2025, finances for 181.764 million manats were returned from the State Budget to individuals and legal entities, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Ministry of Finance.

5.874 million manats of the returned funds relate to the refund of VAT paid by foreigners for goods purchased in the country for non-industrial and non-commercial purposes. This amount also includes VAT refunded for medical services rendered by medical institutions and individuals engaged in private medical practice. 

109.599 million manats of VAT paid for hotel services in the territories liberated from occupation, as well as for goods and services rendered by individuals engaged in retail trade, catering and medical activities, including those engaged in private medical practice, were refunded to individual consumers. This does not include products from the oil & gas sector, automobiles, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products. 

In addition, 18.817 million manats of VAT paid for residential and non–residential premises purchased in cash from individuals engaged in the field of building construction were refunded to individual consumers.
The amount of finances returned from the State Budget for overpaid taxes, state duties, interest and financial sanctions totaled 47.472 million manats.
