August 13, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of this year, the average daily purchase rate of 1 US dollar by commercial banks in Azerbaijan differed from the official exchange rate by 0.27% and the sale rate by 0.13%.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Central Bank, that Azerbaijani banks bought the US dollar at an average of 1.6954 manats and sold at 1.7022 manats. For every $100 bought and sold, banks earned 68 gapiks. This is 4.2% less than in the same period of 2024.

In the same period of last year, the average daily purchase rate of commercial banks was 1.6950 manats per 1 US dollar, and the sale rate was 1.7021 manats.
