August 6, Fineko/abc.az. The testing period of innovative products selected within the first stage of the special regulatory regime implemented by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has been completed.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA that the following decisions were made on the basis of the evaluation of the four products accepted for testing at the first stage:

Pasha Pay LLC – integration of the m10 application into Binance platform
This project includes integration of the m10 application into Binance platform for more secure and transparent implementation of cryptocurrency transactions. Through this integration, users will be able to deposit and withdraw funds from Binance wallets. The product testing results were deemed successful and extended for another 6 months.

Azerbaijan invested part of its reserves at International Monetary Fund

Unicapital Investment Company OJSC - Cryptobroker platform
Cryptobroker platform makes it easy and secure to buy, sell and store virtual assets. The product testing results were deemed successful and extended for another 6 months.

Mobile Payment Solutions LLC – PortCoin cryptocurrency
As part of the project, PortCoin cryptocurrency was released and presented to Portmanat users for investment purposes. The project was suspended due to the fact that the expected test results were not achieved during the testing period.

Svort LLC – Crypto trading Platform
The project, presented by Svort LLC, provided the purchase and sale of virtual assets (tokens) for fiat funds, the exchange of various tokens among themselves, the opening of cryptocurrency wallets and the secure storage of virtual assets of customers. The project was suspended due to the fact that the expected test results were not achieved during the testing period. 

The purpose of the special regulatory regime is to form a regulatory framework for testing, within a limited framework and under the supervision of the Central Bank, innovative financial products in financial markets and the large-scale introduction of products whose results are recognized as successful.
