June 30, Fineko/abc.az. In the first quarter of this year, Azerbaijan directly invested $17.4 million in the economy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Central Bank that the figure is 73.6% less versus Q1 of 2024.

The share of Azerbaijan's investments in the UAE economy in the total volume of investments decreased from 19.9% to 5.5% for Q1 of 2025.
During the quarter, the UAE invested $110.3 million in direct investments in the Azerbaijani economy (42.1% less than 1 year ago).
In the first quarter, UAE's share in overall investments in the Azerbaijani economy fell from 12.6% to 7.3%.
