Data on economic growth in Turkic states published

April 1, Fineko/abc.az. The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications (CAERC), together with the Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States, published the Turkic Economic Review in 8 languages by the end of 2024.

In 2024, the Turkic states had a 1.8% share in the global economy with GDP of $2.11 trillion, and the population accounted for 2.8% of the world's population - 178.8 million people.

The Turkic states demonstrated faster GDP growth of 5.2% compared to the global growth rate of 3.2%. Kyrgyzstan achieved economic growth of 9%, and Turkey - by 3.2%, having the largest economy in the group. Economic growth in Turkmenistan was 6.3%, in the TRNC - 7.3%. Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan demonstrated growth rates of 4.1%, 4.8% and 6.5%, respectively, ensuring sustainable development in the industrial and agricultural sectors. Hungary's GDP growth rate was 0.5%.
