February 27, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has installed 430 charging stations for electric vehicles in 195 locations across the country, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Vusal Shikhaliyev, head of the Secretariat of the Commission on Business Environment & International Ratings and head of the sector of the Presidential Administration.

According to Shikhaliyev, the network of charging power plants is expanding as part of development of eco-friendly transport infrastructure.

The stations were installed by Azerishig and 12 private entrepreneurs.

"The installed charging stations need to be combined into a single platform to make them more convenient and accessible to car owners," Shikhaliyev said at a meeting of the subgroup on encouraging the use of eco-friendly and safe transport.
