June 18, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2026, output for 197.6 million manats was produced in the industries of machinery and equipment, automobiles, trailers and semi-trailers. The manufacture of cars, trailers and semi-trailers grew 2.8-fold, while the production of machinery and equipment decreased by 77.1%.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the country produced 1,677 automobiles in the first five months of this year (375 vehiles less versus Jan-May 2025).

As of June 1, 2026, stocks of finished products in industrial warehouses totaled 261 units.

Tractor production fell by 7.3% to 217 tractors. At that, truck manufacture increased 7.8-fold up to 342 trucks. The production of buses amounted to 193 buses (4.3-fold more against Jan-May 2025).
