December 26, Fineko/abc.az. For the first time, credit investments have been launched in the Eastern Zangezur Economic Region.

ABC.AZ reports, with reference to the Central Bank, that as of December 1, 2024, loans in the amount of 17.392 million manats were given to the Eastern Zangezur Economic Region. The average interest rate for this indicator was 12.98%.

Over the reported term, 16.695 million manats of loans invested in the region were placed in the national currency, and 698,000 manats were placed in freely convertible currency.

The total credit investments in the country as of December 1, 2024 amounted to 27.4 billion manats.
