December 16, Fineko/abc.az. From 2025, construction of only agricultural and temporary residential facilities will be allowed in Azerbaijan on agricultural lands.

ABC.AZ informs that State Service for Property Issues’ deputy chairman Rustam Shahbazov stated about this at a briefing on changes to the Land Code.

"Requests to change the categories of land plots will be accepted in e-format on the principle of a single window. This will make the process more transparent and convenient," Shahbazov said.

He pointed out that innovations in the Land Code will create favorable conditions for entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector.

"The changes will expand opportunities for production and processing of agricultural products. The law will come into force on January 1, 2025," he added.
