October 23, Fineko/abc.az. At today’s Milli Majlis meeting, the parliamentarians proposed draft amendments to the Law on Public Procurement in the 3rd reading.
According to the amendment, the Law on Public Procurement will not apply to purchases carried out by state-owned enterprises under the jurisdiction of state bodies, state-owned business companies and public legal entities (as well as institutions that are their founders) at the expense of their own internal financial resources.
According to the new rule, the procedure for conducting these types of purchases will be approved separately by a body determined by the relevant executive authority.
And purchases at the expense of budgetary funds, budgetary loans, subsidies, state guaranteed loans, grants and funds from extra-budgetary state funds will continue to be regulated by general legislation, as before.
