 December 16, Fineko/abc.az. The reason for the reduction of subsidies allocated to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in the Draft Law on State Budget 2025, submitted for discussion in the 3rd reading in the Milli Majlis, has become known.

ABC.AZ informs that Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said that the relevant presidential decree amended State Budget 2025, relating to the transfer of powers of the state agencies of energy and water resources of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic to Azerenergy, Azerishig and the State Agency of Water Resources of Azerbaijan, and in this regard, there was a the need to reflect the State Budget relevant expenditures: "Accordingly, subsidies from State Budget centralized expenditures, the finances intended for the NAR are reduced by 34.8 million manats, and the same amount is directed to the financial support of the State Agency for Water Resources operating in the NAR territory."
