November 5, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) discussed the activities of the financial sector during the COP 29 conference to be held in Baku on November 11-22.

ABC.AZ reports that CBA chairman Taleh Kazimov wrote about this on his account on X.

He said that they held another meeting with the executives of banks within the wider Presidium of the Azerbaijan Banks Association.

"During the meeting, we reviewed the banking sector’s results for the third quarter and discussed medium-term goals. Topics of discussion included the current macroeconomic situation, recent economic indicators, their impact on the financial sector, and feedback from the sector representatives.

Additionally, we addressed #COP29 related topics, focusing on the broader challenges facing the financial sector and outlining planned actions,” he emphasized.
