July 10, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2024, commercial oil production in the mining sector dropped by 4.9%, while commercial gas production increased by 5.3%.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that production of computer, electronic and optical products grew by 74.4%, pharmaceutical products by 53.5%, cars, trailers and semi-trailers by 48%, building materials by 35.7%, metallurgical products by 32%, furniture production by 31%, production of rubber and plastic products by 26.7%, electrical equipment by 18.5%, tobacco products by 18%, beverages by 14.9%, finished metal products by 13.9%, clothing production by 8.1%, chemical industry production by 7.8%, food production by 4.6%, paper and cardboard production by 4.5%, leather and leather goods, footwear by 4.4%, petroleum products by 1.9%.

Wood processing and production of wood products declined by 6.7%, production of textile products by 13.9%, installation and repair of machinery and equipment by 16.2%, production of printing products by 20.8%, production of machinery and equipment by 27.5%, production of vehicles by 48%, production of industrial products by 61.2%.

In the sector of production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, production volumes decreased by 1.9%, and in the sector of water supply, waste treatment and recycling - by 6.2%.
